PRESENTATION

The three years PhD Program in Medical Biotechnologies aims to provide in-depth knowledge and research training in biomedical and related technological fields which will permit the PhDs to take part in the design, planning and carrying out of biotechnological applications for human health, with particular emphasis on the sectors of disease diagnosis, therapy and prevention.

A PhD candidate in Medical Biotechnologies will have a solid basic preparation and adequate knowledge of specific aspects of human pathology, in order to be able to develop and transfer innovative biotechnological skills to the sectors of diagnosis, prevention and therapy. The PhD students will be capable of designing research activities and applying biotechnological methodologies in the fields of medicine and health.
